HTML, Javascript?
Hey guys, I've been wondering, do any of you guys know HTML or Javascript? (I'm assuming Custom K does, seeing the website...) I'm just wondering, because it seems like not many people have showed a website that they have on their profile. Though I know that many people lately use website creation programs because they don't want to spend the time to learn computer coding, I was just wondering. I know HTML and some Javascript. How about you?
Re: HTML, Javascript?
Actually I rock at HTML if you wanna see some of my work just scroll up and press the "birthday party hat". It's a highly intercative page that took me about 3 weeks. But I made it last year. My skillz have improved since then but it's still fun to look at..

Great! You're the first person that I know that's not at least forty
that knows it. I think that using website creation programs is cheating and
I created my website completely from scratch. (Using notepad).
Javascript is really tough and I'm still trying, but I'm pretty good at HTML. If you
want access to my site, the user is guest and the pass is guest. (For guests, I have my own user and pass with more functions)
Well I'm glad to know that there are more people who actually
use code instead of programs that write the code for you.

Ok TomS, well as I was learning HTML the first few codes or BB codes I had to learn were:
<br> - it means to make a space in between lines of writing, it's the most important
</span>
</font>
<head>
And yes using a program is cheating, and just to let you know, the Goldmine Portal is around 80% HTML scripted.

Re: HTML, Javascript?
I just recently started learning HTML. No clue how to work Javascript. My dad taught me about view source, which allows changing around a webpage to how you want it. Now I know how templates work. Might get a gaming template and a domain name for GGM for when I get it up and running. GGM works like a TV show. Takes forever to start, and then everything goes swiftly and smoothly. My website, Gamer Geeks, will eventually be s Gamers Guide Monthly forum. Once I get GGM it's own website, I would add a button titled forum, which would link to Gamer Geeks. But by then, It'd be GGMF. F = Forum. I'm still REALLY rusty with HTML... But at least I'm not like people who use HTML gerators all the time, and automatically dub themselves "HTML Expert". I use teh coding from scratch! My dad's also REALLY good at HTML!
